Monitoring people health from a Remote Central Operative Unit (R.C.O.U.)
The patient, wherever s/he is, is monitored from a remote operative central station. Data is sent remotely so that those who would have to be confined in a secure environment can live a better quality of daily life by eliminating hospitalization.
At discharge from the Hospital, the patient is given a monitoring KIT composed of the medical device DEP, able to send, even on the move, the data concerning the progress of its clinical picture. The data is collected from the platform Repository4life ® and the specialist who is treating him, can access these data via WEB.

We applied WSN technology even to monitor people under conditions of risk and our main reference is the National Aerobatic Team (www.aeronautica.difesa.it / pan) with whom we have worked for the monitoring of vital parameters during the flight and during exercise in the GYM. Monitoring people health in a confined place
Using WSN technology, person is monitored during the stay in a circumscribed place, such as, for example, the DEPARTMENT OF AN HOSPITAL or a REHABILITATION GYM. The data recorded on the person, are sent to a central location, to be recorded and / or displayed in real time, with the ability to custom and set the alarm thresholds, even locally, and to receive a notification in case of variation above or below the alert level.

From a central station a person is monitored by WSN technology either wearing a dedicated device or using a smartphone; she/he will be sending, in case of alarm, a request for assistance so that operative center can act accordingly, either alerting a care giver or a regular list of friends or neighbors to make a contribution. The alarms in-taken by the center are of two types: Alarm Active Type (the person voluntarily presses a button to trigger an alarm) or Alarm Proactive Type (the person, by means of an internal algorithm within the device triggers an alarm). In the case of Proactive Alarm, patient does not intervene, that is, she/he triggers the alarm involuntary. This takes place as a function of a number of conditions not dependent on patient own will, like, for example, with the alarm generated in the event of patient fall. Alarms received from external devices are managed through WSN platform Safe4life.

Labour4life: Monitoring made by medical device DEP
The tests performed are sent automatically throuh the platform eHealth4Life and data is available to the specialist whom makes a report that will be available, again, on the web directly to the occupational physician and/or employee (in some cases only). This solution avoid the employee to go a medical center to conduct the test, at the same, both reducing logistic costs and allowing the practitioner's job to control the entire process and speeding the reporting examination phase.
Monitoring by W.S.N. technology applied to Labour Medicine
The sudden death from arrhythmia causes is among the leading cause of death in industrialized countries and only ELECTROCARDIOGRAPHY allows the diagnosis of arrhythmia, for the recognition of which a single ECG lead is enough. Moreover, a prolonged use of the device TC1020 by WSN can increase the capacity of detection of arrhythmias!
TC1020, in fact, is a lightweight and easy to wear Bluetooth compatible ECG transmitter that ensures prolonged monitoring in different contexts (for example, during “physical activity”).
