SAFE4LIFE®

SAFE4LIFE®​ is a web platform ​​​​to manage alarm events generated either by stand alone devices dedicated to safety, like Konnetto® (see picture below), and/or mobile phones on which the application SAFE4LIFE® MOBILE (Symbian® and Android® O.S. compatible) is installed.

In both cases people, when in need for help, will be able to send (even automatically) their position and, at the same time, to generate a voice call to a VOIP phone system, which works in synergy with the web application.​​

All alarms are sent to a Service Center, whose operators will handle events and respond to alarm calls using VoIP, mobile or landline phone; platform will give the possibility to modify the configurations of mobile devices, verify proper operation and to recover basic parameters for the operation of the application such as IMSI and IMEI. ​

When a user activates the alarm, the application, depending on the configuration, will send either an SMS and/or a GPRS packet containing the location to the Central Station, and then it will open a call to a phone number belonging to the Central Station.

In the face of the alarm received, an event application will appear to operator, flashing, and it will be possible to locate user on a map.

​

The user positions are updated dynamically providing the operator with not only the actual position but the journey, too. The first operator to answer the call will be automatically assigned to the event and this way one can handle it, for example by passing it to another operator or closing it inserting a comment.
