We, the people of WSN, experience disabilities and we want to live them as a chance to see things differently, never as obstacles. As a result, children subjected to SLD (Specific Learning Disorder, DSA in Italian) who are entitled to our platform have a different way of learning, but they can learn.

In order to promote their educational success we want to "enable" learning by compensatory measures and teaching strategies and by study means that have the aim of enhancing the strengths and minimize the weaknesses points of the children with SLD. The use of information technology to support the achievement of these objectives is certainly a valuable support to the teaching methods currently in use, through the use of software tools that facilitate rehabilitation the child or young person who faces the difficulties of reading, understanding of writing text or calculation, or compensatory accompanying issues related to the disorder.

 

The Web Platform is therefore aimed at children and adolescents subject to SLD and for their operators and supporter (like teachers and / or care givers) who, through the use of a tablet PC will carry out rehabilitative interactive and integrated use of compensatory measures. DSA4LIFE graphical environments and solutions are specifically engineered for children aged 5 to 12 years.
